Asia CI Manager/ Quality Improvement Manager
Shanghai BurmingNash Consulting is a leading provider of HR Consulting Services, we provide professional service within the industry and focuses in Shanghai. Now we are looking for an Asia Quality Improvement Manager for HouseHold Products in Shanghai.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the regional CFI network (Consumer Focused Improvement) with all countries.
# Continuously reducing Consumer Complaint level to reach yearly target in APAC quality metrics.
# Lead resolution for highly impacting (Safety, Regulatory – related) issues and escalated quality issues.
# Partner with other functional groups (R&D, technical support) to drive project teams to address top consumer complaint, customer service, and high internally impacting quality issues.
# Track and drive improvement in cost & cycle times for stop shipment/product holds and closure time for product quality issues.
# Establish and share industry leading best practices regarding focused improvement & problem solving (such as Failure Mode # Effects Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis, Quality Functional Deployment, and Process Mapping) that drive prevention related programs and to deliver on Cost of Quality reduction initiatives and process efficiencies.
# Work proactively with the Lean manufacturing team, be a regional quality lead to deliver the lean targets with the plant teams.
# Drive in identifying the top loss reduction opportunities in the region and work with plant quality leads to manage the target loss reduction.
# Ensure the full application of the PKE (Process Kaizen Engineer) toolkit in the project execution, and assess the team capabilities.
# Participate and contribute in the global discussions of standards, tools and methodologies.
# Benchmarking our programs to help define industry leading best practices, and staying on top of new techniques that will drive breakthrough performance
# Working with Training and Development pillar to develop training programs
# The incumbent may also be performing another role at the local or regional level
Key Requirements:
# 10+ years working in a quality field with a strong emphasis on quality tools (such as FMEA, FTA, QFD etc) ;
# Management Experience for more than 3 years.
# Lean experience 2year+
# Global acumen and familiarity with multi-cultural diversity
# Strong communication skills in English – both written and orally. Ability to present on various topics to executive committees when requested and discussing issues with plant personnel
# Experience in working in a matrix organization and familiarity with the pillar structure
# BS in Scientific Discipline; Engineering or Chemistry preferred. MBA a plus
