Senior Hardware Engineer -Electrical 高级硬件工程师
Shanghai BurmingNash Consulting is a leading provider of HR Consulting Services, we provide professional service within the industry and focuses in Shanghai. Now we are looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer -Electrical for Industrial Automation Controls Products in Shanghai.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Under little supervision, the Senior Hardware Engineer is responsible for design, analysis, test, release and support of industrial variable frequency motor drives products, consistent with company and industry standards for quality, safety and reliability while optimizing cost and manufacturability.
2. This position works closely with the regional and global design engineering team as part of a cross functional team and will be mainly involved in design activities.
3. Be a highly technical individual to participate in a product engineering team in the design, analysis, modification, or enhancement of variable frequency motor drives. Work to meet cost, performance, and schedule requirements.
4. Provide design specification, define the test requirement, and perform qualification test in support of product cost reduction program, strategic sourcing opportunities, product obsolescence replacements, manufacturing issues and any other product design changes
5. Perform root cause failure analysis, analyze complex malfunctioning electrical and electro-mechanical circuits or systems and satisfactorily design and test a solution for the malfunction.
6. Develops and interprets schematic diagrams, engineering sketches, and assembly drawings for the purpose of constructing breadboards, prototype, and production hardware.
7. Guide and/or conduct testing to regulatory agency, internal standards, and international standards.
8. Utilize and interpret the following (not limited to) test and development instrumentation:

Digital oscilloscopes, Analog and digital volt meters and ammeters, Differential amplifiers with voltage probes, Current transformers and hall effect current probes with amplifiers, LCR meters, Tachometers, Torque transducers, Power supplies, Plotters, Personal computers, Spectrum analyzers, Logic and data analyzers, Dynamometers, and Environmental Chambers.
Applies knowledge of internal/external processes to develop and implement strategic work assignments. Writes reports, test plans, functional specifications, hardware descriptions, and other related or supporting levels of documentation.
10. Utilize and observe laboratory procedures for the safe and efficient use of electrical power and rotating electrical machinery.
Define and participate in the Engineering Lab improvement activities.
Key Requirements:
1. M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or Electromechanical Technology.
2. 5+ years of experience in dealing with complex electrical circuits and products. Strong ability in circuit and product system analysis or simulation (experience with tools e.g. Simplorer, Pspice or Matlab is a plus). Solid expertise on power conversion, power semiconductor device theory, applied electromagnetic theory, analog and digital circuit, electrical machinery, control, and test/development instrumentation.
3. Experience in engineering document control and familiar with processing revisions on product documentation through the requirements of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
4. The preferred candidate will have experience in the field of power electronics products -motor drives, power supply etc. (development engineering, qualification testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting).
5. Knowledge of Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) processes/tools and SAP experience desired.
6. English skills - oral, reading and writing.
